BIO

Maddalena Mora (1993) is an artist based in Ticino, Switzerland. 

Her greatest passion has been a connection with nature, which led her to study botany and floral art. 

She continued her studies at the KNOW HOW Academy of Design in Zurich to pursue training that combines nature and design with a focus on art and in 2021 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan.

She currently works as an art curator in Ascona.

 

 

Maddalena Mora specialises in sculpture, installation and print, her artistic research focuses on matter, constantly experimenting with new types of materials.

She draws inspiration from nature, from the deep connection that man has with it, blending emotions and ideals in a pursuit that aims to enhance the ephemeral, bringing out details that we often forget to observe or listen to with more attention, which sometimes lead her to extend her work with performances.

The matter is able to give voice to the themes she most wishes to explore, changing and transforming through the artist's emotions, always creating something unexpected from her previous work.
