“I am inspired by the very fact of being alive and by the experience of the world around me,” said the sculptor Tony Cragg, an artist primarily interested in matter and its internal structure. This is a statement that I think also particularly fits Maddalena Mora.”

Maddalena Mora, known artistically as Mad, is an artist renowned for her deeply rooted appreciation of nature and a pioneering approach to material innovation.
Her early passion for the botanical world led her to study botany and floral art, seamlessly intertwining with her artistic pursuits.

The surprising colours of the river and the hidden paths around the Verzasca Valley region are magical.
These prompted Maddalena Mora to realise a project close to her heart: A Children's Book.
The passionate artist has collected the most beautiful experiences of her childhood.
The result? A book that allows our young and old readers to see Ticino through the eyes of a child.
